  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Everything you wanted to know about the EPIC Canon Mount

sorry guys.. Team found a bug with the canon build last minute, maybe wed :)

Might be stupid question, but is it possible to order EPIC-X with Canon mount pre installed? PL mount would be just waste of money for me since I only own Canon glass.

Josh, there was quite a lot of questions about this a little while back. As I remember it, the answer was "no" for stages 1-3 packages and a "we'll see" on regular Epic X sales after all the stages were complete. But don't quote me on that.

Thanks Bryan! This is only a low res image, full res looks much better. I ordered my Canon Mount on Aug 30.

Delivery must not be based on when the mounts were ordered. I ordered my mount 10hours after it went live on the store on the 27th. For my own sanity I need to stop checking this forum every few hours for clues on when my mount could be delivered! I am a reduser addict & I need treatment...

Sorry Bryan, I've just checked it again, I got my RED order receipt on Aug 26 (at 9:14 p.m.)

I feel like a crazy person on here too trying to find out when I might get mine!! ahhhhhh

I ordered it:
August 26, 2011 10:49:18 PM EDT (7:49PST, 8:49CST)
 
I feel like mine is going to take a while to get to me because I ordered it on the 11th of September. Just saying that because of the guys that ordered right after the mounts popped up on the site and still haven't gotten them. I'm imagining some old guy in the basement of RED HQ turning these mounts out by hand on a lathe before there are sent off to QC where Jarred took those nice pictures.
