  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Module Ship Dates....

Now ya'll made me feel like I asked a dumb question. :)

4x 512GB SSD's to feed your Dragon... Haha!

Sure. Imagine HDRx on FF35, or 645!! I was just thinking of maxing capacity for aerials where it might save you some time=$$$. I mean, you could always land, open the rig and swap 256GB, but not having to do that would be a cool option to have. But I guess it might come later, once there is need for this.

Is there any word on the size of the pro I/O module? I'd love to get some dimensions so I can have the camera properly cased up! The Pro I/O is the final missing link in the foam cutting puzzle!

Thanks!

Ben

+1 need the dimensions for u/w housing

Are you guys still on track for Quad Redvolt module in late Oct?

I need to decide soon about power options -- whether to get a rear V-lock mount for Epic, or wait for Redvolt Quad and/or Dual modules. I like the idea of the modules, so I can keep the Redmote on the camera.

Tom, regardless of Redvolt vs alt batteries... did you see Brook's stealth plate for mounting the redmote on the side?

Rock on Brook! - as for Redmote / sounds like LiIon to me given all the battery intelligence

I also appreciate Red keeping that info confidential while still in development - dont take a lack of response personally - its probably all patent pending - and lets not forget there is lots of industrial espionage in the digital cinema business of late -

Thanks for the updates on the development cycle Deanan,
It all sounds close and very exciting

Jared and RED are the dates still close to
Quad REDVOLT module - End of October.
Quad REDVOLT charger - End November.

i'm deciding between a battery plate option or holding out for the module/charger
depending on timing
Thanks!

Quad Module is Very close... Charger I can see that slipping a few weeks as we tweaked the rubber feet that go on the bottom.

nothing that special... just sitting around waiting for molds :)

I love the stackable stations! Most companies would have just put feet, you guys said "fuck, looks much better with no gap when stacked, let them have options!"

Would be nice if we could get the charger without feet and put them on when you get them instead of a 2 week delay? I'd pay the extra shipping :-)
