Im glad to announce that Len Wiseman and Paul Cameron begin shooting TOTAL RECALL this week on Epic.

From Paul Cameron :

Epic.

It's hard not to face the reality of what EPIC brings to the table. It's ability to render a noise free image at 800 ISO with the lattitude to back it up. HDRX is really what seperates it from film. The abilty to take a second exposure real time to maintain detail in highlights 6 stops over is something i believe will make a lot of cinematographer thrilled.

As I take it through the paces I am finding it possible to render a very tactile filmic look. On this picture I am using Panavision C Series Aanamorphics and going for extreme flares and halation in areas of the frame. The more I deconstuct it the better its looking.

Game on.

Very much looking forwards to seeing this!

No it's not a sequel, it's an adaptation from the book. ^^

I cant wait for you guys to see how good this stuff looks......

Dope. Cast on this thing looks stellar too.

I love the C-series, can't wait to see how they perform on the Epic.

This is great news. Going to be so much better than the first film!

Another congrats RED team!

Is this supposed to be a more fathful adaptation of the book then the "ahnold" version? I usually hate remakes.

I heard 2D yes.

Will they be able to use a module to allow for bomb EVF and LCD at the same time? I imagine shooting off the touchscreen LCD on such a big production will be difficult.
Is there any video breakout boxes to allow for more BNC outputs from the main brain? Maybe one for an onboard SDI monitor and the other 1 or 2 to feed to village?

Good For Toronto and RED. Hope I'll have my X so I can hang out by the set and brag, "Check it out, heres what they're shooting with. The Digital camera that killed film!"
