The new Muppets movie just wrapped and was "Shot on RED"... RED ONE MX and a bit of EPIC. Don Burgess is the cinematographer.

That is so cool!!!

I'd love to know what their lens package was and post workflow.

I love the muppets! And I will love them even more on RED!

Most excellent! In 1976 in Atlanta a new indoor amusement park opened, The World of Sid and Marty Krofft. The park did not last but about six months, but many of the talented folks who worked there survived and moved on to bigger and better careers. One of them was an unknown puppeteer named Steve Whitmire, who is now the voice of Kermit T. Frog.

The space where the amusement park occupied inside the OMNI complex became the home of CNN.

Such a diverse list of films for the Epic already, even if this was only a few scenes.

On a side note, it looks like March is going to be a HUGE month for the Epic with, reportedly, The Hobbit, Jack the Giant Killer (http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Ewan-McGregor-Joins-The-Cast-Of-Jack-The-Giant-Killer-23356.html) and HellBenders 3D (Via OffHollywood's Twitter) all starting production next month.

Congrats Red Team, excited to see them growing out in the wild so rapidly.

Statler: "Wake up you old fool! You slept through the show!"
Waldorf: "Who's a fool? You watched it!"

Working on The Muppets was one of the most enjoyable sets I've been lucky enough to be a part of, however brief. It's hard to have a bad day with Muppets around. :)

Muppets must be shoot in a very high definition. Too bad that most people only knows the Muppets from crappy SD or HD videos because seeing Muppets live on a set is an amazing experience. You can't believe how they are detailled.
