  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I edited that RED Reel and that particular shot is from a gorgeous music video shot in Mexico I did in 2009. It was the first video of a series of four for Icon Records called "Evening with Daddy." The artist is none other than Oksana Grigorieva and was directed by Mel Gibson.
At the time, Mel and his team were testing the RED for an upcoming feature also to be shot in Mexico with largely the same production team. Pushing the boundaries (at the time) of the on-set workflow, 4K visual effects and speed ramping, "Evening with Daddy" led to the shooting of Mel's first RED feature, which was shot in Mexico on anamorphic MX in 2010 called "Summer Vacation." The video was shot by the talented Luis David Sansans who went on to shoot another masterpiece, "Days of Grace."
Here is a link to the video - still one of my favorites and most challenging projects to date.
