This is amazing news!! Another notch in the Red Belt!!

(PS- might be smart to change the title of this thread. At first I thought it was the original Social Network thread from a while back.)

Congratulations RED Team. Just saw it last night... on an Academy Award Screener - wish to heck we had a 4K theater here in Portland. KUDOS regardless, I liked how they didnt over use the TEAL/ORANGE color pallete and it almost looked like a Tobacco grade

Great news - it's a superb movie. Can't wait to see it again.

Fab result, loved the film, great story, no fast action for a change, the film had to stand up by, visual impact (red vision) and great direction, RED is in the big league now, now remind who was that company called Arri lol

Also see definitionmagazine.com great piece on Red and Social Network.

Congrats to Jim and RED

Yes.. Michael McDonough did a fantastic job on Winter's Bone.. awesome DP!

Saw the film finally a couple days ago. Fabulous! So tense yet no heros, no villains, no violence, no love interest - just the human condition on display. Brilliant.

Unfortunately the theatre I saw it in looked crap (as did all the ads and promos before the feature) but I know what Red can look like - it's cool.

You know, you guys keep saying you had/have no idea what you're doing - and I know that may have been true at the start - but FUCK ME! You're learning on the job like all get-out.

Great news for Red users

I'm not ashamed...I saw it four times in theaters. Best Fincher film since "Se7en" and "Fight Club". Maybe better than "Fight Club".

Time will tell. :}
