Thanks for these especially.

I'm assuming that "Additional sanity checking of user crop settings" means that when I create a crop preset it actually saves and keeps the parameters other than just the name?

How about adding lasso/click-n-drag selection of clips in bin or browser while in list view?

Crop presets have been saving and working ok and we haven't seen what you're reporting. The Sanity checking is for odd situations where you can create crops that were not valid.

Drag and drop has also been in there for a long time.

thank you

Wow.

I didn't even have time to post my positive feedback from working with Build 340 for the last week up in the Scottish Highlands. You guys are steaming it!

Loving the new builds! Great strides and exciting stuff.

Still having trouble viewing and exporting side by side 3D clips. Crashes when I attempt to export as ProRes and I can't get it to display through the Red Rocket via HDMI.

Mac 64 and 32-bit versions.

Thanks for getting this new build out Jim & Red team!

Dave

This is awesome! I was so sick of crashing whenever I accidentally hit play while things were rendering. That is probably my favourite feature of this build - having to reset all my still store for the scene and occasionally losing grades when the program crashed or locked up sucked, a lot.

Are there any plans to expand the keyboard preferences window? I would love to be able to set keys for lift/gamma/gain up and down, or to modify the curve or FLUT or whatever else I use regularly.

Cool, the timeline works as it should.
Unfortunately the export issue with win 7 (64bit) is`nt solved...

Installed 340 on my machine and the Ast. Editor's on this job. Neither one of us can get the crop presets to actually save through a shutdown/quit or crash, we have to rebuild them every time we restart the application.

Here's what happens: I set the parameters, in this case a locked-aspect 2.39 center crop of 4096x2304 source footage, click "+" and name it, and then click outside the window to save per the Manual's instructions. Then I save the project file. I can apply it as usual as long as I don't quit/crash that session. When I relaunch the application after such an event, the title of the preset remains in the list, but the crop settings are now gone, when selected it's listed as "no crop," so I delete it and rebuild a new one.

Didn't have this problem with 262. Hopefully 346 once installed will work for me, at least in this regard.

Maybe I'm not being clear on the "lasso" function. It works fine when the browser or bins are in thumbnail display mode, but I can't click/drag to highlight multiple clips when viewing those in list mode. Neither can the Ast. Editor I'm working with on his machine running 340. This would be helpful to quickly see if there are any 2/3k clips in the bin that should be processes separately with different settings, and de-select them from a given batch or add them to a separate bin.

You should be able to view clips through HDMI however stereo viewing through the HDMI is not supported.

Please send an RCX log file from one of the crashes to redcinex at red dot com.
