I have an independent feature coming up where we will need to run a Joker 400 and a 4’ 4 bank Kino for extended periods inside a small school bus. Rather than constantly swapping batteries on a Joker Slimverter, I had planned to use a Honda EU1000i generator that we would rig outside the bus, but find that I can buy a 1000W two-stroke generator for what it would cost to rent the Honda for that same time. Does anyone have any experience with the these generators: http://www.heartlandamerica.com/bro...s-generator&PIN=70382&&BC=6000&DL=MCH1&c=True? Since the Joker has a flicker free electronic ballast and Kinos are high frequency I shouldn’t have a problem with unstable power. The generator can be rigged on the front of the vehicle towing the bus, and the windows of the bus will be kept closed, so noise should not be a problem. Is there any reason to spend the extra money on renting the inverter
generator?
