Hey guys,
Where do you get your grip gear from in Europe, specifically Baby stands, finding everything seems to be really low quality or overpriced.

Jay

It's simple. In Europe, there is nothing, and when there is, it's twice the regular price.

Seriously, there a really few grip dealer, or grip builder.

In France, you can get grip from :

Dimatec
http://www.dimatec.net/

Camagrip
http://www.camagrip.fr/

That's it.

Dimatec is nice, ask for Stephane Samama. They have Matthews, Avenger, and Manfrotto at a fair price and other nice things.

Camagrip is highly overpriced, go there if you really need custom built grip.

what are you actually looking for? Avenger is an europe company and the prices are not really more expensive than anywhere in the world.
you can contact us on info@rental.de - I am sure we can provide you with avenger and manfrotto staff.

Hi Jay, I just recently tried out creativevideo.co.uk for the first time, and it was a very good experience that I would recommend.
They have good prices, I just recently got a set of mini legs myself from them, Sachtler 6132 Tripod DA 150K short (baby) legs, 15-39cm with Sachtler 7003K mini heavy duty spreader for tripod DA 150K (6132)
Total price including shipping about 900 pounds (VAT exclusive)

I was very happy with their service and fast shipping, I will definetly check them out first on my next purchase.

Martin: I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, I broke one of my MSE LowBoy stands and was looking to possibly replace it and found it hard to find a Filmtools like store, I will note down all of the recommendations, particularly Dimatec as I am down near their warehouse quite often!

you are right - there isn´t any filmtools warehouse like in the US. a lot of small dealers yes - but not a warehouse incl. a webshop ! give us some time...
