VFS Inclino, Imperio, Origo News ??

I would gladly be on the debt collector wave. The only thing I see possible here is if VF comes back and gives us all a Pro version instead of the cheap Impero/Inclino they intended to do.

The rest of the market has caught up and now VF's wireless focus control seems obsolete.

If they come back with a Pro version with LCD screen and give it to us who have waited, then I think this whole farce seems fair, but right now we should sue them and let them go down.

I'm sick and tired of them and the lack of communication and this thread lol, no disrespect intended to any of you who still have some strength to revisit this thread and write lol.

It just makes me sick and tired to see them run around doing other stuff for a different market having time to attend shows and conventions etc. Still continuing to be a one man band and now sitting putting together other products instead? If they were serious they would have hired more personnel by now and they would continuously send out notices about how sorry they are. Where they are in their process etc. Even if it's all about them making some other product to catch up.

I have a lot of patience, but in this case I think these guys has paid us nothing but A LOT of disrespect. They're asking us to take it in the..... and then bend a little further.

i'm still up for a debt collection company..i'm serious. I don't care if it costs half of what Curt owes me now, i just want something to happen. I stopped believing a while ago now that i will ever see anything from my investment. No emails, no updates and certainly no FF unit. It's purely moved to just insulting now and pisses me off.

Apologies to rant and vent, but i feel i can here and there are people who are feeling the same.

Oh...and my Red One has just had it's AUX ports burnt out from an Origo...the whole dodgy cable issue has just bitten.
And so you all know, it's a real LEMO and i had checked it before but now it's twisting around. I know it's a connector VF buy in but that does not help me that it has fried the ports and now is going to cost well over $1K to repair and that VF don't want to know about compensation from what i have read previously about this scenario.
So...the VF cables are going in the bin and i'm not sure if i want to know about another VF cable to replace them, guess i'll get another made up here...that's even if i want to use the Origo ever again.

It has just been one bad story after another with VF from the very start!

And thanks for letting me get this off my chest...best place for it.

Put me down for a compensation of $800 for damaging the ports in my Red One too.

Heh Pawel,

To be honest i havn't asked him for compensation as i remember your case regarding this as well. And besides, he barely responds to any emails, very very rarely provides any type of info besides words that end up as just rubbish and has taken our money and would seem he couldn't care in the slightest about those that are left owing. I'm glad you got your refund as i now have very little confidence in ever getting my money back or any type of follow focus...and that's not even considering that there are so many faulty reports from the ones that did make it out there. Considering airfares these days i think i could fly to LA for $1200 and turn up on his door step demanding my money back and refuse to leave without it...heck that would only cost me half of what he owes me! The Origo burn out is just rubbing salt into the wounds...but this would at least save me about $700 in return FEDEX fees for my Red One to be repaired.

Thanks again to this thread for letting me vent...

Has anyone, waiting for Imperio/inclino recieved anything yet?

Also red this on WVF:s open forum:

We are in the process of getting a new CNC (Leased) to bust out the parts we need for the motors. My goal is to have working units in the next couple weeks ... [snip] provide an upgrade to the new "Pro" motors. I'll be posting some more info in the next week ... [snip] I do believe that you are going to have the best system available on the market when we ship this to you.

man I can't believe you guys are still waiting.
While you wait you should consider what support you're going to get if you do get your FF and it stops working on a high pressure project... do you really think VF will rush to support you, they don't even bother to talk to their investors online for free

Seems like the red1 probably should have had better power/short protection on those ports since twisted cables are pretty much to be expected even with the best connectors - shorts are inevitable when pins are so condensed.

I'm putting that on LEMO. VF has to use thier part. I've got several real LEMO aux plugs here and they simply aren't very tough. It's easy to rotate the pins within the case and potentially put the plug in wrong. The plug should have a truly keyed design.

Hopefully EPIC/Scarlet will have additional protection as we all now know the connector is a bit of a weak link.

Well it's out of our hands, isn't it. If we all go and collect our deposits Curt will surely go in to bankruptcy, then we will recieve nothing.

This is a sooo sad story; but I think Curt know he at some point must deliver or pay back the cash.

Most outputs are protected with surface mount fuses or resistors, but still you have to replace the PCB once it burns. Though it is fixable and you do not have to scrap the whole board.
