Sweet.. JEEP Looks...
Any Info on reasonable Price?

Hey Brian, I know in your email to me that you said the quick release can't get pulled like it can on Arri and ET base plates, but I am wondering what's keeping, what looks like just a screw knob, from getting knocked or vibrating loose?

Yes, we use a screw knob. It's just a quarter turn to loosen/tight the plate. This can not get loosed by accident. Vibrations will not loosen it either, just tighten it more if nessesary. And if it just gets knocked, it will not loosen. We have been using a similar system on our ActionCam for years!

Why are all new baseplates with two locking mechanisms per 19mm Rod, one in front and one in the back. I really love the old ET BP Design, with just one lock per Rod, its so much faster to adjust, and i don´t need that long Rods, and it´s also better to fit it with an Arri Shoulder Mount like the S4. The new designs are colliding with the S4 shoulder pad and you can´t get a good balance on the shoulder.

Looks pretty good.

What is the weight of AP bridge plate?

Features:

The bridge plate interfaces with many Arri-style dovetails. The dovetail brake is controlled with a fingerscrew. This makes accidental release - that can happen with single lever bridge plates - impossible.

- ARRI-Style
- For 19mm Rods
- 15mm Arriflex Studio adapters available (100mm spacing)
- 19 and 15mm Rods can be mixed
- Secure lockdown (no accidental releasing like baseplates with single lever)
- 7075 Aircraft Aluminum!
- Very light!!: 365g (0.8 lbs)
- Can be used with basically any camera (REDone, Epic ready, DSLR ...)

The introduction price is $ 498.-. The final price will be around $ 550.-

On stock now.

Hi Manuel

You don't have to lock the ones in the back - your choice. And you can use short rods as well. I think when using heavy lens, long rods and lock-down front/back is better.

Thanks for the pictures. Looks nice!

I was not able to find the item on your web site- what is it listed under?

Also, forgive my ignorance on this- but is the spacing on the 19mm plate 100mm? So to use a 15mm studio configuration, I would need to get the 19mm to 15mm step down inserts you sell too- correct?

the 19mm spacing is 104mm, we have step-down to 15mm that also offset the distance to 100mm

... now on stock

... our baseplate is now on stock (limited amount). The introduction offer is valid for orders made until the end of August.

The following link will take you to the ActionProducts homepage: bridgeplate

From the pictures it seems that the whole weight of the camera is resting on the knobs when you put it down with just the baseplate. Or am I missing something?
