I was reading The New York Times on-line and I came across this article that may be of interest to this thread http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/21/business/media/21facebook.html?hp
The film is also sprinkled with scenes of extravagant parties, and it is not clear how authentic they are.
But a person who was involved with research for the film, and spoke on condition of anonymity to avoid conflict with the producers, said that sequence was one of several that were mostly made up.
not cool if they make stuff up when it's supposed to be based on
real people..we get the "Hollywood sensationalized version"..
apparently one party scene has girls offering cocaine off their
breasts..which according to the NY Times article is made up..so wrong.
You mean you haven't been to a party like that? Man, you need to start twittering and facebooking more. Dude it's all about social networking!
Wait, you guys are telling me that a movie isn't completely factual?
Everything you see on television or in the theater is true. Really happened that way. Really.
Yep, and it's only thanks to the talent and incredible luck of bands of roving camera crews that we can get to see any of it at all.
Already out. It's called "Steal This Film" of course! Now we just need a The Pirate Bay movie, which of course it would be 10x more fun than a facebook movie.
Does anyone know what Fincher is shooting "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" on?
Red One MX sensored?
Epic S35?
Something else?
