  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Contrary to common belief, the answer to Life the Universe and Everything is not "42". it's actually
41.998996835622812838894757620021847639958

The problem is that Deep Thought did not have access to Graeme's FLUT technologies.

That makes sense. Thanks for the info. I was considering it (7D) but then I actually shot some stuff and....not as good as my friends were raving.

So I decided to stick with Red, especially after seeing the clarity in the fine details of the shot over London (on Red day). I'm really looking forward to seeing some Scarlet footage with similar scenarios though and not just shallow dof shots. Those are great in their own right but I'd like to see the resolving power of 2.8k.

Scarlet will have plenty of resolution to zoom in the post!:iagree:
Too bad that I guess my girl will be born before Scarlet...or good...

Woah, didn't mean to troll. I know the Scarlet will blow it out of the water, it'll just be cool to see it, I think. Or heck, a DSLR/Scarlet/Epic comparison even! I'm not picky...
 
I'd love to see it shoot something on a brighter background than the other shots - maybe something outdoors...

The shots on black backgrounds look cool, but we've already seen so many of them.

I'm sorry guys I dont want to be rude but the vibe i get from RED is they will seek you out for employment


if you have graeme like abilities im sure Jim or Jarred would consult you personally and ask if you would like to be employed.

I remember Jim saying RED only hires rockstars and i interpret that as the guys who have already made a name as the best of what they do.

so if you want RED employment find something camera related stick with it till youre the best.


I mean what job are you even asking for?
