From the beta download release notes:

"Zoom Rocker mapping to aperture is not fully implemented"

Zoom Rocker?

I'm not sure I ever picked up on that before.

What could you attach to a Canon (or Nikon) mount that would have motorized zoom?

Or is this a hint at future functionality to come with the RED Electronic lenses & mount?

I believe this means options such as "+" for opening the iris, and "-" for closing it.

Joseph, Mike is merey questioning the actual "zoom rocker" naming for that particular control interface, since there really is nothing you can zoom electronically on any canon EF lens...

My take is that this is a leftover from the 2/3" fixed terminology...

Good thinking Peter; I hadn't thought of that.

Can we map that to focus on Eos mounts? That's what we need.

Our philosophy is to allow the user to map any key to any action that the camera can perform. We are actively adding new actions that can be mapped in each release.
