Ziess 70-210... What would you guess?

A dear friend has a Ziess 70-210 that they sent off to get evaluated for a cleaning. The shop sent it to Ziess (From what they recall) and it got rebuilt. Apparently someone over there freaked out and they got a couple of calls about selling it back. Which they declined.

So, they are trying to find the original packaging it is still in. It is in storage at their house.

So what is the possibility this is something highly desirable? I know Ziess is a gorgeous piece of glass, but anyone know anything about a 70-210? She seems to recall it is a F2.8, but she is not positive. She seems to recall it was part of their Contax camera kit.

If it is the lens I'm thinking about, it will have a C/Y mount, f3.5, needs support, and is prone to flaring.

So possibly more a collectors item than serious replacement for a Canon 70-200....

Oh it might be a nice lens to have around, but I don't know about replacing the Canon.
For what it's worth, I own Zeiss C/Y mount lenses up to 300mm, but happen to use a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 a bunch.
