Zeiss ZE Lenses & Electronic Mount

Before investing in new lenses for the interim while waiting for the Epic to be released, wondering if the ones I'm considering will be usable on the Epic as well.

Is it clear whether Zeiss ZE lenses with Canon mount will be fully functional with the Scarlet? Debating whether it's safer for long-term compatibility to go with a lens that has a manual aperture/iris ring rather than one controlled electronically by the camera (like this Zeiss ZE).

The Canon mount on the Epic and Scarlet cameras will have full electronic control over the lenses. So it has been said before by RED.
