Hi, I'm a new Scarlet MX owner, and I'm about to invest in some Zeiss ZE glass. In my opinion, it's the best glass you can get before jumping to real cine lenses. I'm not interested in the ZF Nikon versions because I can't abide the backward focus--so don't even think about it ;)

Basically I just read somewhere today that the ZE lenses have had compatibility issues with Red's Canon mount in the past. I did some searching to see if it ever got resolved, but it looks like most of the discussions are a few years old, and I can't seem to find any more recent info.

I have a 50 1.4 already, and it seems to work fine. I'm looking to build a standard set of 18/25/35/50/85. I'm wondering if these lenses are officially supported yet or if anyone has had problems recently (aside from the latest Dragon FW).

Thanks for all the help!

Yes, they are compatible. 21,35,50 makro, and 85 all work (This is my kit).

Yes, supported they are. ZE-support is essential for RED. ;) I actually prefer ZE-versions too, the electronic aperture has some benefits.

You should have a look into the Milvus-versions. They have a better housing (with added weather-resistance), newer coatings and the 50/1.4 + 85/1.4 have re-designed optics.
