Here is the chance to own a nice set of four Zeiss superspeeds , T1.3 lenses for S16mm
Lenses have installed 32' pitch gear for the follow focus
The kit comes with one screw in PL mount.
I am adding also for free a Zeiss 10-100mm f2.8 16mm Zoom. It works, but It's given as is.
The lenses are going to be a great set for the upcoming Scarlet.
They also work fine on the Red one in 2K and some in 3K mode.

Lenses are in good shape. No scratch, oil or dust, good and smooth mechanics. The 12mm has a coating mark (scuff) that doesn't affect the image.
I am adding a small pelican case with it.
I would prefer local pickup in Toronto.

The price is $4200

Thanks Hunter
They are really very nice and smooth as butter.
I feel bad letting them go , but need to redirect my money.
Those babes are going to be very sweet on the Scarlet...

Albert beautiful glass. Question-What is the current amount of coverage at 3K on the Red One Camera?

Michael
in 3K I used 16mm and 25mm; the 12mm was almost covering it with heavy vignette, so I had to crop image a bit.
I used them mostly for high speed stuff in 120fps in 2K. Thats where they were shining.
I will shoot some stuff on the weekend and post examples.
What I like about them is that they match other Zeiss glass, so it's not a brainer for those who are aiming for the 2/3 scarlet as a b camera, along 35mm lenses.

I made few test shots with those lenses for those who asked for it.
The shots are wide open at T1.3. and T2. Taken on Red in 3K mode

Quite sharp Lenses I have to say:)

Out of curiosity, how well does the 10-100mm image intercut with that of the superspeeds? Aside from wider apertures, of course... How well does the 10-100mm manage wide open?

I know this sale is primarily geared for the SS's with the zoom as an added bonus, but I'd like to consider them all as somewhat complimentary, plus having a lightweight zoom for 2k/3kish wouldn't hurt for certain applications...

Thanks!
Clint

Forgot to ask...do these all have a consistent front OD? Looks like it, but I'm not too knowledgeable with the many different lens sets.

Not to sound like a broken record, but what is the OD for the 10-100mm?

Thanks again...

Thinking about Jay Kelly's post here, these lenses might be an excellent fit for low-light live performance situations where a live CLEAN FEED from HDSDI is the primary deliverable. Is the LIVE FEED 720P HDSDI signal acceptable in 2K mode? I apologize in advance if there's something I don't understand here. Just thought this application might make your lenses even more valuable and useful with current RED ONE.

I don't thing those lenses are good for the HDMI on the Red
They need to be debayred, thus -20 or 30% of the resolution.
They are great in low light and they deliver in the format they are made for. s16mm - SCARLET.
What is OD?

I'll take few images with the zoom.
It should cut it, but as of now I don't really know. I have mixed them , but I have never seen the edit.
