Preferably in PL mount, and from sellers in the UK/EU (as I'm based in the UK), though open to offers from further afield.

Regards,
J

Hi, Michael. Did you put in a link in your response? If you did, it's not showing. Thanks, in any case.

By the way, to those offering, I'm only after the 16mm focal length in particular.

J

There are a couple of Cinema Products Ultra T* 16mm T1.25 lenses on eBay.

These are warmer on colour rendition than the Zeiss. My specimen is sweetest in the zone T2.8 - T4. Depending upon camera/sensor and lighting conditiions, you may experience a very faint evenly dense internal reflection between rear element and sensor.

It appears as a circular grey on my SI2K camera and occupies approximately the centre third of frame. This may be unique to my lens and may not occur with others. The CP Ultra T* lenses were originally developed for standard 16mm film cameras and made for Cinema Products Corp by Kowa in Japan. They will cover the Super16mm film frame except the 9mm which requires a simple modification.

Examples you find on eBay are generally CP-Mount or ARRI B-Mount or ARRI standard mount. Those with ARRI mounts can be made to work with a PL-Mount camera with the appropriate adaptor. Ken Hale at Whitehouse AV in the US can fit a PL-Mount or supply one if you want to DIY. In the UK, I would not be surprised if Les Bosher has made a few PL-Mounts for these lenses.

There's a few of the older Zeiss 16mm lenses listed here.

As there doesn't seem to be any decent copies of the Cinema Products I could find, and that really I've only done my reading on the Zeiss, I'll be sticking with the Super Speeds. Thanks for the tips, though, Robert.

I've seen those already, Iason. (Also saw a set that was selling cheaper, though without the 50mm.) I'm only after the 16mm focal length lens, though.

Hi, Tebbe. Like I said, I'm not after a set but only the 16mm focal length lens. Cheers.
