The 1/10 stop feature sounds remarkable. I've always used manual ap glass, but I do get into a lot of situations where that 1/10 of stop would count. Recommend ZE?

Im using ZE lenses since years on RED and there in terms of sharpness and colors very nice, focus pulling is a different story. I highly recommend the 15mm, 21mm, 25mm, 35mm (1.4), 50mm (2.0), 100mm and 135mm. The 28mm and 50 (1.4) are not really good. 85mm is good as well but you will get a lot of CAs same issue with the 35mm (2.0). The 18mm should be ok as well, but this is the only one which don`t had in my fingers![]()
To be honest, when it comes to the 21/2.8 i would have some problems choosing this over the SIGMA ART 20/1.4.Both are great lenses, but the SIGMA offers more.
One lens that's kind of terrible is the 50mm ZF which is terrible at f1.4 (bad coma / really soft). However, at f2 it's much better. I saw a chart test and the new Milvus 50mm is much cleaner at f1.4 than the old ZF 50mm. I'm thinking of replacing the 50mm only and keeping the other ZFs as those are great lenses.
I ended up getting 3 EF Zeiss classics (18mm, 35mm, 50mm) to start. I found used prices on them all that I couldn't refuse (I saved over $1200) and the optics are clean. 85mm to follow. I decided to keep my Rokinon 16/35/50/85mm for now as well to have a full manual option. Very excited to put these to use on the Raven! Loving the pictures they give already.
