OPTICAL CONDITION:
Mint - No scratches or cleaning marks. No haze or fungus. Original coatings and optics.
MECHANICAL CONDITION:
Focus, zoom and iris are all working perfectly with light, smooth, minimal effort. No backlash. Lens was regularly serviced at Duclos Lenses.
COSMETIC CONDITION:
The barrel is in excellent condition. There are a few tiny chips to the paint from matte boxes being taken on and off.
If you are familiar with the lens, you know how great it is. There are MANY zooms that cover this range and speed. The Zeiss is as fast as the Optimo 15-40, almost as light, and focuses closer (18"). This lens was made to match the Master Primes in color contrast and sharpness. Also like MPs, there is no breathing.
