ZEISS CP.3 50mm T/2.1 - EF mount, metric scale (damaged)

For sale is a DAMAGED lens.

This 50mm lens fell from about 2 meters height. It hurted me, more than it hurted the lens

As seen in the photos, the body has been dented.

But the optics and mechanics are still working as expected.
I have tested the focus distances, and the marks match the focus perfectly.

As seen in the video, the aperture ring closes all the way without problem and the focus ring turns is very stiff.

So the DAMAGE resulted in 3 negatives:

1. The body is dented
2. The aperture ring moves with a slight stiffness.
3. The focus ring moves with a hard stiffness. Cannot work with focus motor, can turn only by hand.

Why I think someone may benefit from this lens:

1. The optics still work as expected, so this lens still may be used on a shoot.
2. The lens and other parts can be re-housed, or re-used.
3. The EF mount can be used on another lens.

The lens still can be used on set, so not much of a risk investment and a good opportunity to fully fix it in Zeiss (Germany).
