I am selling a nice, clean example of the popular Zeiss Contax 85mm f2.8 lens. This particular lens is an AE version with a low serial number (#5864772), made in West Germany. It has already been cine-modified by Peter at RP Lens. That means that the aperture ring has been declicked and dampened, a custom-cut pressed-on Delrin lens gear has been fitted, and an aluminum 80mm front has been installed. The lens has the standard C/Y mount and I will include a CY to EOS EF adapter.
NOW $500 (new price 10/31/13) for this lens. Considering that cine-modification generally cost $250 per lens and that the unmodified lenses (in great condition like this one is) are currently selling for around $500, this represents a heck of a deal. For an additional $100, I'll convert to Leitax permanent EF Mount.
PM me here or email to: tom.g (at) compass.edu. Payment via PayPal. Buyer pays shipping. Prefer North American sales only.
