Zeiss 50/2 Users?

Any Zeiss 50/2 macro users? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the lens. Also, I'd love to know the distance from the flange to the focus ring to see if my FF will work with it. Thanks!

I love my 50/2. I don't know the length between focus and flange unfortunately. The barrel extends as you focus though so it is awkward with a MB sometimes (not what you asked but extra details haha).

Actually, that's good to know since it's follow focus and mattebox compatibility that's the root of my troubles with my current 50mm, a Leica Summicron.

Love the 50 f/2.

It's an awesome lens. Like Marc said, it can get tricky with a MB, but there's always a work around.

On the Scarlet from the sensor plane mark to the front of the lens (approximate measurements):
At close focus 142mm
At infinity focus 112mm

Where the focus 'texture' appears on the lens is about 75-85mm out from the same distance and doesn't move, just the front of the barrel extends.
