Anyone have experience with this lens? I am shooting 2k with my Red and am looking for a good s16 lens.

zeiss 11-110 T2.2 is conversion of the 10-100T2 ...
this is my favorite 16/s16 lens ... it does breathe more then other top 16/S16 zoom lens ... i have tried the cookes 9-50 ( and s16 conversion) , canons on feature/doc projects but usually after 1-2 days i trade them in for the 10-100 ... i like the image ...
i like the T2/T2.2 and i plan to shoot interiors wide open ...
it's viewing the image at 24fps that counts not looking at one frame for 2 min ...

11mm is not short enough for a workhorse. You want more wide angle. Zeiss 16mm zooms breathe considerably. I would always prefer a Canon 8-64. Also, 2K is not S16, it's smaller. Shooting 2K has less FOV than shooting S16 with the same lens. 11mm will have an even longer FOV. Shooting 3K and crop is the way to go in the moment until there's a unique S16 windowing setting, for instance 2.5K.

I am buying a lens. I heard you can shoot 2k with a standard 16mm is that true? Then would the Angenieux 10-120mm T2 work:?

I would test. I had complete coverage with my 9-50 but the usual (even in N-16) near focus vignetting with the 10-100.
Angeniuex 5.9 covers too!
Cheers,
Harry

I shot recently with the Canon 6.6-66mm - sharp, doesn't breathe too much (not like the last Canon I used, a 7.8-144 - breathed so badly it was actually unusable).

I used to use this lens, but I never saw the footage on anything better than MiniDV. Didn't look as good as the cheap primes we had (Illumina). Personally I would prefer a newer, wider zoom (like the aforementioned 6.6-66).
