ZE 1.4 or 2.0 Makro

OK, so now that I have narrowed it down to these two...

Is it that bad @ 1.4 or does it get as sharp @ 2.0 as the Makro, which makes it an all around better deal? It is $500 cheaper... its nice to have that extra light coming in the lens, with an Vari ND you can have very deep dof... shouldn't that be the major point of difference?

Also in motion, is the "unsharpness" @ 1.4 noticeable at all?

the 2.0 macro is probably the best 50mm nikon mount lens I have used. It's very sharp...I would stay away from the 1.4 version...it's actually not very good IMHO... and honestly there is not that much DOF difference between 1.4 and 2.0 on a 50mm....
