Your advice--AE confirmation on an Adapter?

I'm about to spend $600 on some quality C/Y - EOS adapters from Leitax. I'm curious if anyone else is using any lens adapter with focus confirmation on the Canon mount.

Leitax offers the "dandelion" focus confirmation chip for their adapters, but it would bump the price of the whole 8x adapter set up to $1,000.

1) I've seen focus confirmation activate on the camera before, but have others used it extensively?  Is it accurate, reliable, helpful?

2) Anyone have any experience with Leitax adapters or focus confirmation via an adapter in general?

Ryan, I don't have any experience with the chip but I can say good choice on purchasing Leitax adapters. I converted all of my ZF.2 lenses to Canon and am very happy. Here is a little review I did about the process.

Thanks Martin! Leitax seems worth every penny. Anyone else use AF confirmation on their Epic or Scarlet?
