Yellow tally and fan cranks up.

Ive been having trouble with the Epic where when I press record the tally light in the LCD goes yellow (not red) and the fan cracks up. At this point it is not recording and seems frozen in this mode. Holding down the power/record button for a few seconds will shut down the camera. Then starting back up everything is usually normal again... Until the problem resurfaces, today this happened three or fours times. Anyone else had this trouble?

not necessarily. I had the same problem a while ago on my Epic-M and disabling the record half press action only reduced the frequency. Mark, you should contact Red Support.

Heard from Red, they told me to update firmware. I guess it is a known bug, 1.6.40 should fix it.
