  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

If you had an awesome camera to play with, would you be on here either :P

Haha, just do what I am doing, I signed up to composite in a 3D helicopter into a movie and have been teaching myself Blender since the project cannot afford Maya or 3DSMax. It's kept me QUITE busy!

I liked the frog's ass bit. There's an image in my mind of Ted all puckered up. It reminds me of a Sopranos episode, when they said that Christopher had the look of a constipated owl... Now I see Ted, Michael Imperioli and James Gandolfini puckered up with eyes popping out. It's funny.

Yeah, there are too many very likely tattoo candidates who all fell off the face of the internet at an almost identical time for SOMETHING not to be up. I'm guessing that RED likely didn't just ship the tattoo packages out without at least some training session to get everybody off and running.

Also, Friday marks the 31st day since Jarred's announcement of Jim's one month leave...

Probably getting quiet also because there isn't much room for speculation. We pretty well understand the specs now. We can speculate on how they're achieving them.

"Maybe their super new autofocus focuses in between frame exposures so that there is no visible focus shift!"

But not really on what features are coming. (21 being the exception but it's so ambiguous that we can't even speculate).
 
I know what #21 is... It's an official badge and certificate that qualifies the Scarlet purchaser as a "DP". Seeing how everyone and their brother who buys a 7D or 5Dm2 is suddenly elevated to DP status these days, RED is taking it one step further and actually issuing the credentials to back it up.


Sorry, I couldn't resist. I just spent two days shooting with a "DP" and his 7D kit. For some reason, I feel like I got kicked in the nuts.

Im a blender-head too, and am doing exactly the same. how are you finding 2.5?
