Hi Experts,
I am new to Red Workflow, going by youtube tutorials... there should be an xml import and export between FCPX and Red Cine X Pro. However, i figured that FCPX is allowing us to import R3D files directly (Leaving files in original location). When i do color correction in RCX all the changes are reflected in FCPX.
This all works great... i wanted to double check with you if this is the correct latest workflow! Please someone confirm.
Note: i am not using Proxy/Optimized media... i am editing the clips in original media at FCPX, my MBP was able to handle this.
One problem i am seeing is, when i export my footage(Just for testing, I have exported a single clip from FCPX), when played the output file, it seems to be a bit jittery ( i made sure the Fps on clip matches with FCPX project and also used original footage during the export process). I played the clip in Qtime as well as on VLC player... has anyone seen this issue earlier?
Your help would be highly appreciated.
Also can someone brainstrom me on best quality (for 4k) settings for export from FCPX!
