XLR module

[Geffá Oliveira]

Hi there folks. I'm new around here, looking towards a better, pro video camera, and Komodo certainly got my attention.

I see that Komodo have a 3.5mm mic input, but I do wonder if there are plans for some sort of XLR audio input module, made by Red, or some 3rd party company for this tiny awesome camera.

Does anyone knows anything about it? Have Jarred said anything regarding this?

Thank you!

Beachtek DXA RED might be your answer

Speaking of XLR's/Komodo, is there a way to have an audio recorder that 'starts recording' when you press the record button on the Komodo (through some sort of signal cable)? I'm also new to Reds...

Sonosax M2D2

Thank you folks! This Sonosax seems interesting, cheaper than the Sound Devices 833, and this DXA RED seems to be great for run and gun.

Hopefully Red, or some 3rd party, can make an actual module to directly attach to Komodo.
