  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

XLR I/O module with Fixed Scarlet

After I buy the Fixed Lens Scarlet with the complete kit, could I then buy the I/O module which has the XLR inputs to attach to this camera? Good Audio is very important to me.

Will the Fixed Lens Scarlet have USB 2/Firewire and Headphone output like the previous version of Fixed Lens Scarlet?
 
I seem to recall it being written somewhere in one of the official documents that the Fixed Lens Scarlet will support all of the same accessories as the other models, but I am unable to find where I read that now. If anyone can either point to where this occurred, or point to something that contradicts it, it would be welcome.

And of course, all of it is subject to change (that should be the Red company slogan).
 
I've seen it stated before as well that it will be compatible with all the accessories. The only difference (other than a fixed lens) is a longer body due to the lens reaching further back into the camera.
