[(RED) WTB] X-Long Dovetail Plate for Red-One Camera set up. ***

I need an "extra-long" dovetail to mount under our Red-One Shoulder Mount Bottom Plate.

This is for a special custom purpose to enable us to put the camera way back behind the center of gravity on the tripod head.

If any of you know of the name, model, or brand, of a dovetail plate like this, please let me know.

Hi George,

I have an used 18" element technica dovetail plate. It that long enough? If you want a new one they build them in a 24" version as well. Also the cadillac of dovetail plates is made by Camera Accessory Solutions (http://www.cameraaccessorysolutions.com/products.html). They make a 24" dovetail with 15mm and 19mm rod support built into the end, works perfectly with a red one and a optimo 12x.
