Not entirely sure I want to sell, but I am sending my camera in for an eval for hardware failure and based on the costs and if insurance doesn't cover me I may want to sell the camera body... and go buy a new brain with warranty and cut my losses, and forgo Dragonizing for the time being.
Why might someone want a broken brain you may ask, good question! Its time stamped to get the Scarlet Dragon update early in the process. If this matters to you and you want the update badly, perhaps you will do me a favor and buy it at a reasonable price to be determined on whatever costs are needed to fix it and I am hoping my time stamp might bring it more value, thus getting me closer to rebuying a new brain.
So my dreams of updating might be dashed if insurance doesn't cover this, I was already pushing myself really hard just to afford the update, but with this happening its starting to look even more unrealistic that I can be liquid in time...I might be willing to repair it myself and then sell it (obviously account for the costs) if people are willing to pay decent money for an early update to Scarlet Dragon. I am open to whatever options on whether I repair it first or if its your problem, just looking to see if theres a market for early Scarlet Dragon timestamps and if it can help get me out of this hole I got myself into just now... Hopefully all of this doesn't come to fruition because insurance covers me, or the repairs cheap, but I figure I should just post this as a plan B. I really don't want to be a non Red owner (even in the short term), but if theres some value in my timestamp I could really use the cash to get a new camera if this repair does my savings in... So this is just a contingency plan I hope to not use, but its all up in the air essentially...
So really just testing the waters here, please PM or email me if interested... Really not sure if there is a market for early time stamps or not but I'd like to find out... And no low ball offers please...Cuz I'm already a little bummed out on the timing of this whole thing, last thing I'd do is sell it for pennies on the dollar... I mean its hard to even talk numbers without knowing what my repair quote is yet anyway...If anything tell me what an early time stamp is worth to you and we'll figure out the brains value once I have my quote in hand...
Thanks!!!
