Anyone know how I can rent one of these babies... do they need an operator? i need to shoot in the desert, using either 5dmkii or epic-x.

Should I rather buy or rent. I prefer renting. I'm shooting 3 car chase scenes in the desert, total 12 minutes of the film. Doing this for a feature. so, in total... 3 to a maximum of 4 day shoot.

In Abu Dhabi Area. United Arab Emirates.

thanks...

Definitely rent with an operator unless you have built, flown, and fully understand the system. Those things take literally years to learn.

If you want to fly a Epic you should talk to Colin at GTS, I'm pretty sure they go to UAE. They have been getting some amazing shots and have a lot of RC solutions, including some bad ass jet powered ships the can fly for 45min......

thank you guys... Aaron, that seems to be what im looking for.

would you happen to have an email address of theirs?

Id check what the rules are first. Radio equipment of this size tends to garner attention.

I ordered a small heli a while back and it never got out of customs.....

But if its a goer, Id recommend talking to Preston at Snaproll media. They are the balls.
