WTR NYC: RPPs and Cine Xenars

[Mike 'Fireman' Ross]

Title says it all; I'm looking to rent each of the above for one day (but not on the SAME day!), to test before I make a purchase decision. A test, not a paying job so cheap is good and schedule is flexible; at your convenience!

(I've read about mechanical/ergonomic concerns with the Xenars, but Schneider has a sky high rep with me from large format stills work and I'd like to give them a fair shake. If this test works out may WTB a set of Xenars)

PLEASE reply direct to eruptionchaser at gmail dawt com - my REDuser mailbox is hovering permanently just beneath 'full' it seems!

Thanks

Mike

Abel sells the xenars. I'd expect you could work something out with them.

Mitch?

I have a set of Xenars for sale!

I don't think they sell them any more, last I heard...

I see. I didn't realize that. I looked at them there a year or so ago....

And yes, their stills lenses are wonderful. I also thought these looked very nice in the Portland Oregon test that was posted here a few weeks ago.
