Hi,

Any chance anyone in Toronto would have a USB 3.0RED MAG reader they'd sell at full price plus shipping costs? I'm going to shoot in the field Africa and need a quick way to offload cards. I have the Lacie thunderbolt adapter to ESATA. but I won't have the 12v needed to power it. I'm rushing out to get a new matte book just to cut time.

Anyone who could help out will be king. I'd even throw in a full day of shooting with my epic if there are any scarlet users who have one.

Need it by Sunday morning 15th of July.

I've go the esata one. I want the USB 3.0, because the computer can power it. To use ESATA on my mac, I have to use the Lacie thunderbolt to ESATA hub, which requires 12v power. Which I don't have. There is a generator, but we only can run it for about 3-4 hours a day, and I'll have a lot to charge, so I want to minimize what I need to plug in.

My eSATA/FW800 REDmag reader (original model) came with a USB to DC-in power cable to supply juice when using the eSATA connector. Did yours not come with this?
