Hi everyone, new guy to the class here, both to RED and Reduser, so I don't have ability to post in marketplace yet (admins remove if this is not allowed, I'm just on a slight time crunch). I've been working on a Sony a7sii rig for the past year, a7s before that and Canon DSLRs before that. Time to jump onto the RED train.
Anyways, with all the new DSMC2 models coming out I'm hoping I can grab a used Scarlet MX package for $5k. That is my budget, so if you have a pkg you're willing to sell, for that price, read on, otherwise the rest of this post won't be worthwhile for you. I'm selling my a7sii kit in less than a month, but hoping to have a Scarlet in my hands before January, so this is not an instant thing but it takes time to find a good one. I'm entirely new to the RED ecosystem so I would need everything required to go out shooting.
Things I have that are currently compatible: V lock battery & EF lenses.
What I'm in need of:
• Brain
• EF mount
• Side SSD
• Side DSLR handle
• REDMAGS (the bigger the better)
• Card reader for mags
• V lock adapter (I can buy one but it would really be necessary)
Some plusses:
• AC adapter for Scarlet
• 5" touch
• Redmote
