Hi,

I'm looking for a Standard OLPF (790-0517) for my Epic Dragon. I'm located near Amsterdam in NL.

Have a nice day!

Best regards, Ruben

Quite a bit harder to find than I anticipated 😅. Still looking for one!

I was thinking about this too but never dared to do it. I know CG Wilson (he also repairs DSMC1 camera's) made DSMC1 Standard OLPF's. Maybe he knows if it's possible.

I recently sold my Dragon so I don't need it anymore...

I am looking for the standard olpf too.... write if someone selling it .

Not to be a downer, but I would put your energy on finding other ways to improve your kit/image than trying to find a loose DSMC1 Standard OLPF. Back when I had an Epic-Dragon from 2018-2021 I spent about a year straight checking everywhere online for one, DM'ing dozens of owners to buy one from their kit, and even reaching out to several rental houses to rent/buy one (none had one in the entire United States), before I ended up finding one that randomly popped up on eBay from somewhere in Europe after a rental house closed. To this day I've never seen another come up for sale again, so I think I got the last one that wasn't already part of a kit. It really is as sweet as people say it is. It's the OLPF that should have come with the Dragon from the start, and they clearly learned their lesson since every DSMC2 camera came standard with it. Once I got mine it only ever came off the camera when I wanted to play around with the Infrared OLPF or to compare it to the Skin-tone and Lowlight.

Also, it's not possible to use a DSMC2 Standard OLPF. I also tried buying one and sanded it down the filter to fit the DSMC1 OLPF case, but you lose infinity focus when you do that. DSMC2 OLPFs don't have the IR cut filters built into the glass like DSMC1 does, so it totally throws off the focus of the camera and you get a ton of IR pollution.

Sadly the only way to get one is to buy another camera that has it. And with the current market I'd say it's worth just finding a cheap DSMC2 body and not worry about the DSMC1 unicorn accessory.
