  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I didn't realize RED release a 50-150mm zoom. Is this an older lens I missed, or a new one? This could compete my set. 18-50mm, 50-150mm and 300mm Prime.

How big is the 50-150mm? Do you need supports?
 
yea its an older lens. Its not too bad. not my favorite but its not bad. its not very big either.
 
No, it doesn't need support, the PL mount is more than strong enough to hold it. Beautiful lens, I don't think anyone knew how special they were when they were available.

well, Will, i think 17-50 / 18-50 and 50-150 is a very nice set, that's why i'm looking for it. i not sure it is great lens, but i have to try and see it on my eyes to say something more. i hope someone will sell it to me, so i will do some tests.
 
Red used to sell the 18-50 and 50-150. Then a few years back they were sold through some retailers as Digioptical. Here is the crazy part, you could buy both zooms as a set for $6000.
