  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

WTB: R2E Lemo to eSata Cable

Problem is though, when you're using that cable to offload the camera drive to 2 eSata drives with the MacBook Pro/Express34 card setup, the cable uses one eSata port, leaving only one port on the card open, and you can't daisy chain eSata drives. So unless you have more than 2 ports, like maybe a 4 port Sata card in a MacPro (if there is such a thing) or some kind of external port multiplier setup, then you're better off with FW800 to the FW bus. And even if it did...$225?
 
Is there somewhere I can rent the cable in Los Angeles for the next 2 weeks? Otherwise I'll just take the plunge and buy one..
