Hey all, I'm looking to buy an O'connor 50 or 50D, does not need to be in amazing shape, just useable.

I'd be also interested in buying just the head, no sticks, if someone has it. I really do not have a large budget. But I'm really looking for one, I love the older head and it'll do what I'm needing.

Sergio Arguello came through, I bought an old Oconnor 100 off him and it was in really rough shape. I had it being repaired over the last month, and here she is now! What a beauty! I am so happy. Thank you Sergio, I'll use this for life. (Sorry for the photo quality, took on my phone)

Visual products will fix up any old oconner head, I also bought a 50d from them that looked like new. Call them, their website is dated.

I cannot believe I forgot to put who repaired it. I got it done at Transylvania Film and TV http://www.transfilm.com/ They are SERIOUSLY AMAZING. I cannot give higher reviews of them.

It's a father son place, they truly put love into every repair, its more then a business, it's a passion for them.

I CANT give a higher praise for them, truly you'd be happy there.

The price was around $1300 for the FULL and total repair, keep in mind that head was basically past the point of repair. So I know prices would depend on how bad the condition is.


All that to be said, check those guys out at Transylvania Film.
