Looking for Heavy duty mitchell top with legs, preferably with a max payload of over 200 lbs. Also looking for a head, but that's an after thought. I'm building this from the ground up. LOL

I have a set of older, shopworn (but possibly never/rarely used) tall wooden Mitchell legs with a metal spreader but no case, along with a decent O'Connor 100 head with an Anvil-style case (no foam.) I don't think I'd put 200 pounds on it, but... How's $850.00 plus shipping sound?

Are you looking for a Fluid Head or Geared Head to hold a 200 lb. load AND a tripod to support all that?
Your other thread says your just looking for sticks?
Are they one in the same?
