  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Rented gear gets abused pretty bad, as they usually could care less of scratching, and or abusing the gear in any way, since they didn't paid for, so what I look for is ot buy lenses that have not been rented out, and or lenses that have absolutely no scratches and or marks on th egear ring, which usually is typical on rented out lenses to have the Focus Ring gear a bit consumed, as some AC's don't place the Focus Motors properly, and ends up eating away the Focus Gear on the lens.

Other signs of rented out lens Marks, are made on the front 114mm Element were the MB clips on or rests on, and especially when using the Arri type MB's which are heavy and Metal like every were, the lenses get in a pretty bad shape fast, for this I also have now moved to the Bright Tangerine Strummer MB, way lighter a bit smaller and much nicer on the lenses.

Lastly, on Rentals many times they put stickers, at times rubber, or plastic, other times metallic, and when this are removed most times they also end up scratching the Barrel on the lens, so I don't want any of this lenses, as this is for personal use, and want my gear to be always looking as new, just like the EPIC M8... ;)
