Looking to purchase:

a Joker Bug 800

Would like it with travel case.

If anyone has one, or any info, definately let me know via PM or email.

Thanks,

Ryan

Tough to find used. Great light...

Yeah, I might just have to buy new, but thought I would test the market to see if there is anything.

Ryan the 800 is worth it's weight in gold. Besides all the great things you can do right out of the box You can also add bugabeam adapter and make a bad ass 800w s4 Jo-Leko and also get an an HMi ring and a 30" JEM ball ( rips top / muslin) to have a gorgeous round daylight source . Only problem is you'll want more Jokers. I would buy a new one and take care of it, it will be used all the time .

I was in your shoes half a year ago. I called up some rental companies and a few filmmaker friends if they knew of anyone who had a used one, and they laughed at me. Apparently these things are gold. So I ended up buying one. The customer service is fuckin hands down unbelievable. I had a weird issue with my bulbs (even tho it's not their fault) they fixed it, sent it back, everything for free. (This is something a Chinese manufacturer can never do).

Hey Frank, yeah versatility is key, and I can definately see myself using the 800 ALOT... I had a 1200 Arri and she is a beast to lug around, the ballast alone has gotta be close to 50lbs.

Thanks for the words Elan.. I was speaking with K5600 and there customer service does seem top notch. I was receiving replies definately past "business" hrs and that right there says alot.

I have bought some chinese "knock offs" before, and I definately WON'T be going that route again.. as they say, you get what you pay for.

Thanks everyone,

Ryan
