Why not get a PL-mount 1D Mark 4 instead? It works with most PL lenses better than a 5D2 will.

Not sure why you'd have a 5D with a PL mount - most lenses with a PL mount won't cover the 35FF of the 5D. You're better off with a 7D or a 1DMk4 which sensor sizes are closer to S35.

pravin, I think you just buy the camera from that company, not send them your existing camera. there are several companies that do this with 1D Mark 4s and 7Ds. Look around.

Some 50+mm PL lenses may work. The Zunow 2X extender may work as well. The only ones that will surely work are the CP by Zeiss. All except the 18mm apparently as it vignettes as well....

This is the best solution. No modification to the camera, however, the mount itself costs more than the body.
