WTB: Arri PL to Canon EF adapter. ***********ENDED.

I will also trade ARRI standard to PL adapter for it. Stainless steel, without rings, easy removable.

Pl to Eos

pretty sure this doesn't exist.

I could be wrong again, but doesn't this require unscrewing and taking off the actual EOS mount from the camera?

There two types - one (where You have to unscrew EOS mount) i have for good in my 7D. but i have also cuted interior, so 80% lenses (or even more) fit. if You do not have cuted interior there's only about 9-10mm space to put rear mount of PL lens. Type two - it's normal adapter, like any other for EOS camera, but it has only 6-7mm (or less) to put there PL lens mount. And there's NOTHING You can do about it.
I have both. Used. This unscrew version in Mint condition about 110 USD + shipping. Secont type a bit used 130 USD + shipping.
Regards, Art.
P.S. I can do some pictures of my EOS 7d with cuted interior to shoe what i mean.

We made one with self support to take the weight off the camera mount and an adjustable handle.
Cooke , angenieux zooms, even RPPs. Lenses maintain the infinity focus.:yesnod:

Yeah, there are lot of types. From Russian 'HOME MADE' for 70-80 USD to PRO versions for 400-500 USD. They are on the market for over 2 Years.

They do exist, but so far as I know the throat size of PL is same as EF at 52mm so any PL lense which have a wide rear end will not fit in to the adaptor throat. There is a manufacturer in Poland makes good adaptors and also available from MTF in London. Heres a couple but Im sure there will be more.

Red lenses do not fit to this adapter.. I have one and it is just sitting on my shelf.

They do exist and I have 2. One that you replace the eos mount with, and one that is just a straight up adapter. My ekran 25-80 zoom lens as well as the duclos 11-16, my 180mm and my canon 2.8 300 all fit on there, so that pretty much covers me for a c300 job, or if I want to shoot still with my t2i and PL lenses.

Here's what i have in my 7d.

I bought ARRI PL to EOS adapter from Foto Akcessoria, Poland. But my Angie's stainless steel ARRI-PL mount has longer tail that doesn't allow it to fit in.
Later I bought a cheap aluminium ARRI PL mount from the same seller. It didn't fit again but I shortened 1mm edge of its tail and now it works great. I am happy.
