  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

WTB ANY K35 LENSES ANY CONDITION

I have two 18mms the 2.8 and the 1.6. 1.6 has a small coating mark on the front element, 2.8 has a bunch of coating marks on the rear. 1.6 PL 1.8 bncr.

I am sorry for your misfortune Tony! This is truly my greatest fear with my set of K35s, and why I am hesitant to rent them outright. Perhaps this could be an opportunity for others to make mention of additional K35 lenses available, and as I have read on here before, even retired/damaged lenses that could at the very least be used for parts.... Not to long ago I met a lens tech who had a particular fondness for the K35s and at one point even mentioned having some of his glass re-coated to match the original K35 specs...

Tony, sorry to hear about your 55mm K35. How different are the back elements from the old Canon FD 55mm L or 50mm L. I have always wondered if the elements from the still lenses are compatible with the K35 elements? Nick
