I am in search of an old Angenieux or Cooke zoom. I am a student looking to mount something with decent range and low cost on my newly acquired Scarlet. I am located in the Los Angeles area.

You should be aware the difference between the Ang. and the cook is night and day. The Ang. is basically dark ages tech and the cooke is the beginning of the enlightenment. I would consider the cooke a "modern" design.

Nick, thanks for the information. I mounted an Angie on it and was happy with the image. It definitely has a different look then then more modern glass I compared them with from school, but I enjoyed it. Of course I wasn't able to shoot a chart or anything...

I prefer a Cooke, but if an Angie comes along at a low price I will consider.

Cody,
I have an Angie 20-120 that Duclos just worked on including polishing and recoating the front element. It also now has Duclos Support Bracket. I just spent 1650. with them on this lens. Hit me up if you are interested. . .
thanks
