WTB a way to power RED body from RED Brick not on camera

..how are you guys getting a long cable to power a body? I want to go "dslr" style shooting hand held with just a body and lens and small LCD...I can put the battery in a backpack but how can I get a cable to reach?

well the V-dock mount is a $150 part alone, so no.
But someone had a used one here for sale.
